Diana Sobolewski's Private Reserve caught my eye with a classy and fun cover. I liked the idea of marrying the exclusive wine world with romance and erotica. It's a natural combination! I have to say that I learned a lot about wine via this story, and realized that it was quite an education. To come away with increased knowledge of the real world of wine via fiction writing is quite inspiring. Miss Sobolewski is a detailed writer, I was never lost in the story, always challenged to read on about where the romance would lead. There were some nice surprises along the way, and I especially like her humor which comes through loud and clear. The sex scenes are delicious, and speaking of delicious, the novel also includes some wonderful dinner ideas which I am now going to try. I love Europe and missed it greatly while reading this romance, as it realistically brought me there time and time again. Who can resist a beautiful, classy woman who gets her man with her wit, intelligence and kind heart? I am looking forward to the next book in the Desire and Luxury Wine series, and applaud this Canadian author.
